Peer Educator Program - UCI Division of Career Pathways

The UCI Division of Career Pathways' Peer Educator Program helps students gain professional skills while helping their peers!

Are you seeking a dynamic, paid opportunity helping your peers during the academic year? Apply to be a Division of Career Pathways (DCP) Peer Educator!

An ideal fit for the Peer Educator position would be a student who is interested in:

Providing one-on-one advising with students on career planning, resume, job search, interviewing, and graduate school information
Assisting in campus outreach and marketing of Career Pathways events and services
Providing Career Pathways workshops to student organizations and housing units
Working with a team to enhance the services of Career Pathways
Developing skills in communication, leadership, professionalism and career management

This is a great opportunity for students regardless of major and career goals. We look for a diverse pool of students with a range of experiences and we train students throughout the year starting this Spring and Summer so no career services experience is necessary. This is a 3-quarter commitment (Fall 2024, Winter 2025 and Spring 2025), approximately 8-10 hours per week with some training starting in Spring and Summer 2023. This position is in-person and students must be available Wednesdays 3-5pm during the academic year. Work study is required. First and second year students will be given preference.
