Career Fairs
The Career Center sponsors several career fairs each year to provide students with the opportunity to meet employers looking to hire UCI students face-to-face.
Why should I go?

You can access companies that are specifically looking to hire UCI students for
- Careers and full-time positions
- Internships (both paid and for credit)
- Part-time jobs
- Seasonal jobs
- Great networking opportunity to meet with recruiters and professionals in various industries
- Find out what employers from various industries are looking for from applicants
How should I prepare?
- Attend Career Center workshops or view webshops online. Spring Career Week
- Bring a draft of your resume to a scheduled resume critique or stop by the Career Center for drop-in appointments Monday-Friday 10am-4pm
- Research the companies beforehand
- Dress professionally (proper attire guidelines) and bring your Student ID card
- Bring lots of copies of your resume
- For last minute tips look for the Student Prep Lounge at the Career Fair
What can I expect ?
- Each company has a table with information about their opportunities
- Approach each company that you're interested in and offer them your resume
- Introduce yourself and ask them what types of candidates they're looking for
