What is a Career Fair?
Career Fair is a one day event that provides students an opportunity to meet diverse employers looking to hire UCI students or to provide internship opportunities.
When and Where are the Career Fairs?

Once every quarter in fall, winter, and spring. Upcoming Career Fairs:

Why should I attend the Career Fair?
  • Gain access to companies that are specifically looking to hire UCI students for
    • Full-time positions
    • Internships (both paid and for credit)
    • Part-time jobs
    • Seasonal jobs
  • Great networking opportunity to meet with recruiters and professionals in various industries.
  • Find out what employers from various industries are looking for from applicants.

Who is going to be at the Career Fair?
Various companies and organizations looking to hire UCI students who are interested in job or internship opportunities. students interested in learning about various industries and career options are also welcome. Check zotlink for the most up-to-date list of participating employers or Stop by the Career Center about a week before each fair and pick up a Career Fair Guide
What can I expect ?
  • Each company has a table with information about their opportunities
  • Approach each company that you're interested in and offer them your resume
  • Introduce yourself and ask them what types of candidates they're looking for
How Should I Prepare?
  • Attend Career Center workshops or view webshops online.
  • Bring a draft of your resume to a scheduled resume critique or stop by the Career Center for drop-in appointments Monday-Friday 10am-4pm
  • Research the companies beforehand
  • Dress professionally (proper attire guidelines) and bring your Student ID card
  • Bring lots of copies of your resume
