How Parents Can Help
- Learn about UCI Career Center Services and Resources
- Encourage your student to visit the UCI Career Center early in their college years
- Share our Career Planning Timeline with your student. It will give them a roadmap from which to navigate (PDF)
- Be open minded and allow your student to explore many options through internships and jobs
- Refer your student to the professional staff for an appointment to assess their skills and interests
- Investigate jobs and internship possibilities on our website
