Guest Speaking Opportunities

Special events and workshops take place prior to the Career Fair each quarter to encourage and prepare students for employer meetings and interviews.

You can support the Career Center and increase your company's visibility by volunteering to speak at one of these events.  All workshops are prescheduled by the Career Center several months in advance.

• Employer panels during Career Fest (February)
• Dress for Success
• Resume Writing
• Technical Resume Writing
• Interview Techniques
• Technical Interview Techniques
• Negotiating the Offer
• How to be Successful at the Fair
• Networking Strategies

Several student clubs and organziations are also looking for speakers on a regular basis.  The Career Center maintains a database of volunteers and makes recommendations to the clubs.  If you're interested in being a volunteer guest speaker, please contact Michelle Foley at (949) 824-6884 with your area(s) of expertise.
